Welcome to Urban Impact's Waste Not, Want Not Art contest, a competition where we invite Grade 4/5 students to use their artistic talents to think big and design recycling art for millions
to see.

This up and coming green generation can start incorporating more responsible practices into their daily routines that will foster a lifetime of good earth stewardship. Students are invited to submit an original artwork piece that illustrates the phrase, "Waste Not, Want Not."

Your artwork should depict the FIVE THINGS that students can do to recycle at home and outside the home, go green and reduce their environmental impact.

Urban Impact's judging panel will select the winning artwork from a grade 4/5 class from the Vancouver Lower Mainland.
The school that wins will receive a $500 prize.

See your winning artwork come alive on a full vehicle wrap on Urban Impact's recycling trucks that travel from Chilliwack to Whistler. We hope your students' artwork will be eye-catching and powerful enough to make a huge impact.

At Urban Impact, we believe that thinking about recycling possibilities leads to tomorrow's leaders, so this year we're inviting grade 4/5 students kids to exercise their creative imaginations around the theme, "how I can make an impact recycling..."

Whether kids ask their moms for green art supplies, ease up on video games, or carpool to school, it all starts with art supplies, some paper and ideas. And, one lucky student artist will take home a $500 prize for their school!
