Job Title: Accounting Clerk

We have an exciting new opportunity in our Accounting Department as an Accounting Clerk. This entry level position will provide the right candidate with an opportunity to learn about many aspects of our industry and accounting processes.

Main Job Duties:

  1. Enters scales tickets into company systems
  2. Processes daily cash receipts and company mail
  3. Organizes and prepares company visa reconciliations
  4. Provides month end accounting support
  5. Maintains electronic and hard copy filing
  6. Maintains petty cash
  7. Orders and maintains company supplies
  8. Performs daily bank deposits
  9. Provides accounting department support as required

Job Qualifictions

  • Must have Alpha-numeric Data Entry Skills:
    • 95% accuracy
    • (10,000 key strokes per hour)
  • Accounting courses and/or certification is an asset
  • Previous experience in an accounting role is an asset
  • Pays attention to detail
  • Possess articulate communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Windows based computer systems: Excel is an asset

Job Title: Billing Coordinator

Reporting to the Trucking Ops Manager, you will be responsible for inputting and maintaining operational and customer data into an in-house system for operations in both BC and Alberta. You will also be expected to provide feedback on operational and system improvements to enhance the company’s customer service experience.

Key Duties:

  • Complete driver route sheets and generate required reports
  • New customer set-up in database
  • Process customer service change forms
  • Verify accuracy of work-order billings
  • Generate the required reporting
  • Enter and maintain operational data in the system
  • Provide support for trucking operations

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Tech-savvy; experienced with data entry and MS Office software
  • Excellent follow-through and problem-solving abilities

This is a permanent full time position with opportunities for career progression
Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 6 am to 2 pm
