Cause We Care Foundation Holiday Care Package Drive

Earlier this holiday season, Urban Impact proudly partnered with the Cause We Care Foundation by donating our Mega Bags for their 19th annual Holiday Care Package Drive. 

The organization had over 100 volunteers creating and delivering 1,200 Care Packages to 40 frontline organizations across British Columbia's Lower Mainland making the season brighter for those struggling during the holidays. 

Thanks to their generous partners, each $250 Care Package delivered a care package worth much more to families. These backpacks offer hope, joy and a way to help reduce the stress of the season for those on an extremely limited budget.

The Single Mothers Support Fund Covers:

  • Childcare services to assist in accessing training or educational courses
  • Clothing (including uniforms, appropriate footwear)
  • Computer equipment (including internet & Wi-Fi costs)
  • Educational / training supplies
  • Food and essential supplies
  • Some basic health + hygiene costs (haircuts, glasses)
  • Transportation
  • Tutoring
  • Other costs may be considered on a case by case basis
