On November 11, we observe Remembrance Day. It is a time to pause, reflect, and honour those who have served.
The red poppy remains a powerful symbol of remembrance. It grew among the graves of soldiers on the Western Front during the First World War and continues to represent the sacrifices made by members of the Canadian Armed Forces. The poppy is also the principal emblem of the Royal Canadian Legion.
As we take this day to remember, whether through personal reflection or by attending a commemorative service, everyone at Urban Impact extends heartfelt gratitude to our Canadian Armed Forces members and their families, past and present, for their courage, service, and sacrifice.
