On November 11, 2024, we observe Remembrance Day. It is a day that we take a moment to remember and honour those who have served.
The symbol for Remembrance Day is the red poppy flower, a native plant that grew among some of the war victim’s graves on the Western Front during the First World War. This flower has become the symbol of remembrance and is the principal emblem of the Royal Canadian Legion. To learn more about this day, visit the Canadian War Museum.
As we take a moment to pause or participate in a commemorative service event, to honour on all of those who are impacted, everyone at Urban Impact extends our gratitude and thanks to our Canadian Armed Forces and their families, past and present.
