Recycling in Small Spaces

low pro truck & compactor services

Space for recycling and waste services can be a challenge in smaller spaces and newer buildings. Real estate is expensive. As developers and architects consider maximizing retail and living areas, space assigned to tenant amenities takes priority, making service areas smaller and harder to access.

Low Profile Trucks and Compactors were designed to service these smaller and tighter areas.

With this focus on ensuring that waste and recycling do not occupy too much commercial or service space, Low Profile Compactors can be an excellent solution for limited spaces in width and height.

A Low Pro Compactor is the same as the traditional or standard compactor used in industrial locations, only smaller!

Urban Impact offers Low Profile Trucks and Compactor services that can be customized for your unique situation and site to allow for the compacted collection of a wide variety of materials, such as garbage, recycling, or organics.

Specialized trucks and services

DESIGNED FOR YOU

Servicing a Low Profile Compactor requires a specialized truck that is modified to fit into height restricted underground parking and areas. The truck is modified with a lowering package, which  allows the driver to activate and reduce the overall height of the truck, before entering a height restricted area.

Theses trucks have been modified to be able to access underground parking lots or areas that are 6’6” high.

This versatile truck carries a smaller compactor to handle high-volume waste categories such as garbage, cardboard, recycling or organics. A Low Profile Compactor will compact the materials at approximately the same compaction ratio as a standard compactor.

A good rule of thumb for compaction is 4:1 compaction, making this an excellent solution for tenants or residents with smaller waste collection areas.
