To be a relevant company in today’s market, an organization must provide a compelling value proposition to win and keep customers. It also must find, grow and nurture talented people, who are focused on achieving company goals and are diligent in serving customers. Urban Impact is no different. As a company and as individual members of a team, we work hard to serve our customers’ needs and be relevant for our employees.
Giving back can mean many different things for each of us. Some give their time to youth sport or youth activities, others give back to the poor or underserved, some give to international causes. For Urban Impact, our commitment to giving back is to give to our communities in which we work.
Since 2000, Urban Impact has provided free recycling services to many local charities through the Urban Impact Charity Recycling Program. Our goal was, and still is, to help charities to reduce their waste and recycling expenses. By subsidizing their waste management and recycling expenses, these charities have more funds to do the valuable work they do in our communities.
In 2023, the Urban Impact Charity Recycling Program gave back more than $60,000 to local charities. We are thrilled to be able to support them. It is also an important reminder to our team that their contribution at work allows Urban Impact to give corporately.

In addition to the Charity Recycling Program, Urban Impact helps with Charites through Shred Events. In 2023, Urban Impact supported six local charities helping these charities raise $30,000 with Shred Day Events Fundraiser. Urban Impact provided a shredding truck and driver at no cost. With both programs, we are able to provide our local communities with financial support and are so proud to do so on behalf of all of our employees. Click here to learn more about Shred Events.
