Our company culture is centered around people, our teams, and our staff. Antibullying, acting in kindness, and respecting other’s opinion and lifestyles is a message that resonates with our core values. Every February we celebrate three holidays that support these values: Valentine's Day, Family Day, and Pink Shirt Day.

Urban Impact will again make an annual donation to the CKNW Kids’ Fund Pink Shirt Day. Festivals and events occur throughout the month to raise awareness and funds around anti-bullying initiatives. The Pink Shirt Day campaign recognizes the importance of unity, inclusivity, and diversity of all people. The official day is recognized on February 26, 2025.

On the official day, in show of support, Urban Impact teams will wear a pink item. Over the years, we have collected many Pink Day shirts, and in keeping with our cultural value of reduce and reuse, we will be reusing our Pink Shirts.

With so much controversy in our world and communities about inclusion and acceptance, we hope that #antibullying #kindness #stopbullying messaging continues to gain momentum.

As Urban Impact takes this opportunity to celebrate love, kindness, and unity and embrace fund-raising to bring awareness to positive causes, we hope you will join us by donating or wearing pink. In our view, there is no better event or day that embraces one of our core values.
