As we all are, Urban Impact is closely monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation as it unfolds and rapidly changes. While there are many uncertainties regarding COVID-19, the health and safety of our staff, customers, visitors and suppliers is our top priority.

During these uncertain times, we are continually reviewing and updating our operating procedures to include COVID safety for our staff and our customers. Urban Impact has a COVID Safety Plan for our operating teams. The plan is updated frequently and as information becomes available.

You may not be aware, but recycling and waste collection are considered essential services. In addition, receiving and processing of both are also included as essential.

We are committed to observing the best practices published by WorkSafe BC and the advice of the Provincial Health Officer to ensure the protection and health of our employees balanced with our customers needs to receive services. We remain committed to continue providing these essential services to the best of our ability while maintaining the health and safety of all.

OUR COMMITMENT TO SAFETY AS WE NAVIGATE COVID-19

Please know that when we arrive at your premises, COVID safety is at top of mind for us. Our teams are up to date and trained in all of the best practices that we hear so much about from the BC Health Authority, WCB and others.

If you have any suggestions on how we might provide a safer service to you our important customer, please email safety@urbanimpact.com.

Lastly, I would like to share with you our internal hashtags that we are using to communicate COVID safety to our teams: #covidsafety #wegotthis.

Thank you for the opportunity to be of service.
