PADS Shred Day

On Saturday, September 17, a little rain did not get in the way for the South Surrey Chamber of Commerce Shred Day for Pacific Assistance Dogs Society Shred Day.  We were thrilled to provide a shred truck and a driver to help South Surrey Chamber of Commerce shred 4,480 kg of paper securely onsite by donation.  The generous donations from the community in Ocean Park helped raise $3,645 for PADS.

PADS breeds, raises and trains life-changing assistance dogs. PADS is entirely funded through the generosity of donors and is 97% volunteer run.

PADS partners the PADS dogs with people living with disabilities, and with community care professionals.

The dogs change lives. They are more than beautiful, healthy companions, they are specially trained to aid people.

Meet Corbel, a PADS pup in training.  Corbel is six weeks old and is already on his way to learning how to be an assistance dog.
