We are pleased to announce that Urban Impact will donate the proceeds from our next two Shred Days to the Philippine Red Cross to support the people of Manila who have been affected by the typhoon. Widespread flooding has affected millions of people in the Philippine capital, the worst flood since 2009, leaving many people trapped on their roofs.

We would also like to recognize the contributions of our accounting team member Maria Bernardo. Maria is hosting a Flood Relief Fundraiser at the Charles Bar on Saturday, August 11 at 7pm to support relief efforts in those areas. Tickets are $15 and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to relief efforts primarily through the Philippine Red Cross and a Philippine University association volunteering to provide a soup kitchen for those flooded out of their homes.
