For more than 30 years, Urban Impact has been helping our customers with their waste, recycling, shredding, auditing, and reporting needs.

Our One-time On-site and Hard Drive shredding service provides a truck to your specified location with a uniformed, bonded, insured and security-trained driver. All material is shredded curbside at your location.

Once the shredding has been completed, our driver will provide a Certificate of Destruction.

​​​​​​No, it is not necessary to remove these items.
​​​​​​Yes, we will accept a small amount. A small number of CDs and DVDs is acceptable.
​​​​​Our driver empties the boxes for weighing the material prior to it being shredded. Your boxes are not weighed or shredded. We give them back to you for re-use or recycling.
​​​​​1. Ensure that the truck can park quite close to where the material is located.
2. Ensure there is elevator or ground level access. Stairs are not acceptable.
​​​3. Ensure boxes are at chest height. Drivers are not able to move boxes off shelves any higher
4. ​​​​Ensure boxes for shredding are not stacked taller than 5 feet.

Rates and Payment

  1. Urban Impact charges a flat truck call-out fee of $95 + $0.55 per kilogram of material shredded. For example: An average bankers’ box weighs 11.5 kilograms (or 25 pounds). It would cost approximately $6.35 to shred.
  2. In addition, we charge a fuel surcharge 16%.
  3. Payment is required at the time of booking. We accept Visa or Mastercard. Urban Impact will email you an invoice shortly after your On-Site shredding has been completed.  The day following the invoice will be put through on the encrypted credit card and a receipt emailed to you.
