Finally, it feels like spring might have arrived in the Pacific Northwest!  It feels wonderful to have warmer weather but hopefully not too warm this spring and summer. As with other businesses, Urban Impact has been impacted by COVID and all of the supply chain issues that we know and feel in many aspects of our lives.  Supply chain delays have impacted our operations in many ways including: delays in deliveries, shortage of bins and containers, uniforms for our teams to name a few.

Electronic Certificates of Diversion for 2021 are Now Available! At Urban Impact, we believe that sustainability includes dealing with waste in a responsible, cost effective manner through comprehensive recycling practices, education and participation.

Winter storms in British Columbia’s Lower Mainland have never been as powerful as they have been in the past few weeks. This year the cold weather, snow, and ice storms rival the winter conditions in the rest of the country.  The frigid and blustery weather conditions are having a significant impact on day-to-day life and business operations throughout BC.

To Our Valued Customers,

The past 2 years has been difficult for many of us.  One of the impacts on our business has been a significant staffing shortage.  Urban Impact is currently operating at approximately 90% of the staff we need to serve our customers. We are actively recruiting and working to retain our team members, especially our drivers.  To attract quality employees, we have updated our compensation, benefits, hours of service and other important factors to ensure we are competitive in the marketplace and have refined our training programs to provide the best service possible.

We want to assure you that we are working hard to provide services that are on-time and as scheduled. We ask for your patience as we continue to fill our staffing shortage. We apologize in advance for any delays in service or response times.
